Do all 6 wheels have drive, or does the JMACX 6×6 conversion have a lazy axle?

While many 6×6 vehicles are only 6×4, with only 4 wheels driving and one axle only operating as a lazy drive; JMACX set about developing a true 6 wheel drive 70 series upgrade. All 6 wheels drive and are fitted with triple lockers so this vehicle build offers the ultimate in offroad capability and tow capacity.  

Is this a self installation kit?

​No, JMACX will only Supply their 6×6 kit to a JMACX approved workshop installation facility for fitment. See JMACX Authorised Installers.

For international customers: Due to the nature of the chassis work, only select JMACX facilities are approved for install but international customers arrange to build their 6×6 at JMACX HQ and export their vehicles all over the world. See International Sales for more information. 

​How long is a JMACX 6×6 conversion?

​JMACX 79 Series 6×6:

• With a 2400mm tray fitted, the total length of the 6×6 is 6200mm 
• With a 2800mm tray fitted, the total length of the 6×6 is 6600mm 

What does a JMACX 6×6 weigh?

A JMACX 6×6 79 Series weighs approximately 350 Kg heavier than the factory tare weight.

Can this be approved in all states of Australia?

Yes, all states of Australia can have legal approval of the JMACX 6×6 GVM upgrade.

​No, JMACX fabricate a complete chassis section to replace the existing rear assembly and increase chassis strength.

​Two tests on comparable vehicles 6×6 and 4×4 with the same tyre size, similar tuning, similar towing weights and loaded up for touring and the 6×6 was 1L/100km heavier on fuel consumption.
