How is GVM upgrade different from the bolt in coil conversion?

The bolt in coil conversion is a cradle frame and diff housing combination which mounts in to the rear of the factory chassis. Whereas the JMACX super chassis is a full fabricated rear chassis clip that extends the wheel base 300mm, allowing for better loaded weight distribution while achieving strongest chassis for the light vehicle category in Australia. Along with the coil conversion the design of chassis also incorporates an inbuilt tow hitch, bracing and rear winch cradle

How strong are the upgraded differential and axles?

The JMACX differential housings are full fabricated units that exceed the strength of the factory original unit. JMACX axles are the strongest production manufactured 300M chromoly axle for Toyota Landcruiser available. 100% Australian made and designed.

Where can I have my 4495 GVM upgrade installed?

How long will JMACX need my vehicle for?

The Toyota Landcruiser 79 Series 4495 conversion will take around 7-14 working days depending on what accessories are being fitted to the vehicle.

Does the wide track diff correct the rear vehicle track?

Yes. Factory vehicles have a width difference from the front to the rear axle of 100mm. The JMACX 4495 coil conversion comes with a wide track diff as a track correction of the vehicle and increases the stability of the vehicle. Note: wheel spacers and large offset wheels over 25mm are illegal in all states of Australia.

Can I have a custom colour?

We offer custom colour for radius arms. Radius arms are gold SA-5 coated as standard. For an additional charge of $80 you can select a colour from our colour range. If you would like other parts custom coloured eg. coils, differential etc please contact your local JMACX authorised facility to have your parts custom coloured for an additional charge.

Will the GVM upgrade affect my insurance?

No, but it is up to each individual to check with their insurer. Generally insurers only require the vehicle to be legal.

Do the upgrades contain parts that are custom and maybe difficult to find?

Our diffs maintain all factory brakes, hubs, bearings, seals, diff lockers etc. Most parts maintain OEM Toyota bushes, so parts can be easily accessible anywhere in the world.
